Bruno says NUFC will be a "World Power"

Delusional? Ambitious? Watched Goal! too many times? Dunno.

But I like what I hear about what he thinks "The Project" is. Of course, every other fan will be rolling about in fits of laughter. And we probably need to teach him the difference between Champions League and the Chimpo...

But, hey, money talks and it is clear that they pitched him on the fact that they're going to keep spending.

    BBC source..

Separate article...."Co-owner Amanda Staveley said after the £305m takeover that the club planned to challenge at the top of the Premier League in coming seasons. "We want to see trophies, but trophies need investment, time, patience and teamwork," she said."

When was the last time we had a new signing saying hes ambition is to win the champions league with us?

If we stay up this season, and he stays here for 4,5 or 6 years... who knows?

If he's here in 6 years it could be how many Champions Leagues

Interviewer: Do you see Newcastle as potentially bigger than Arsenal?

    Bruno: Definitely

Great attitude to have quite frankly, get that feeling amongst the other players.

Aye - Trin is right, every other clubs fans will be laughing now but so many did at Man City all those years ago, as they did at Chelski before that.

    He's right, of course.

Nowt is guaranteed but, with our owners' plans and intentions then trophies are on the cards at some point.

And I still can't get my head round it...saying that sort of shit and being serious!

Well many will fill their bellies with laughter if we go down.

I have a feeling that it will just strengthen the resolve back in Riyadh to make us a success in the medium-to-long term even if we turn out to be hard boiled shit lumps in the short term.
