And this is why Johnson’s attack on Starmer in the House of Commons was so vile. Johnson knew exactly what he was doing; he had been advised not to do it, and one of his closest colleagues, Munira Mirza, who worked for him for years, was disgusted, and resigned when he refused to retract his lie and apologise.
Guess it depends what you read...

Starmer was not directly responsible for the Savile case but Johnson was 100% responsible for the culture that allowed the Tory party to act so irresponsibly.
Bozo is incapable of contrition - a state that normally follows a sincere apology - Bozo would rather spit his poison at all and sundry.
I'm surprised that so little has been made of the fact that Savile spent many a night under the roof of M Thatcher, the then leader of the Tories.
Isn't it great that we've taken control of our own destiny?
UK firms have been hit by "increased costs, paperwork and border delays" as a result of Brexit, MPs have said. A report from parliament's spending watchdog, the Public Accounts Committee (PAC), said it "was clear" that leaving the EU was having an impact on UK trade volumes. It also warned things could worsen this year as new import controls come in. "One of the great promises of Brexit was freeing British businesses to give them the headroom to maximise their productivity and contribution to the economy - even more desperately needed now on the long road to recovery from the pandemic," said PAC chair Meg Hillier. "Yet the only detectable impact so far is increased costs, paperwork and border delays."
Careful Elite I think Brexit talk is banned on here because otherwise all the lads who voted for it would be forever telling us how great it’s been!
