Where I do feel sorry for Steve Bruce is that the Board appointed him after the window closed. At least Sam Allerdyce had the opportunity to sign some loan players and look for new blood.

We need to hit the ground running, obviously, if we are to even get into the play offs.

We definitely needed someone with experience and whilst I am not a great fan I do think he is as good as we could get at the moment.

9th in the league after one game in charge......discipline still not great....not sure how bad the tackle was by Livermore.
I had us down for six points from first two games...which has gone now....didn't hit the ground running as hoped......harsh reality of life in this division..........

The Fickleometer is twitching like my d I c k does at the thought of Liz Hurley licking a Mr Whippy after tonight.

Seriously, he's going to be gone within another 7 to 8 games if he doesn't arrest this alarming situation.

If nothing else he needs a couple of sad draws to halt this decline otherwise he's another one that'll be getting paid off.

The only good news is that Lai must now be really s h I t t I n g his pants and be desperate to bail.

This is quickly coming to a head in my opinion.

Bring on the Bhatti brothers or Venkys.........he'll sell to anybody at this point.

I would give him to the end of this season and next. He has come in after the window had closed and inherited a squad bereft of ideas and confidence.
At least we are trying to play football again.
The problem is the owner and scouting system.

Not sure he will want to stay round beyond this season Des.
Wouldn't blame him and wouldn't be bothered if he did.
