Very selective , chased off, Keyboard warrior's , abusive , this from someone who is on a constant wind up kick , and uses the word FOOAK ON many occasions , made Mr Filey ill with incessant hounding, BD was actually very abusive , He was man enough to come on here and apologise , he also said he was having a break from here and also seeking medical help , ( not hounded off as you put it ) everyone on here wished him well in his rehabilitation , except for one ---- YOU , do you remember now ?

I remember it developing exactly as you have said, particularly BD receiving a lot of good wishes in dealing with his mental health issues.

There are two main message boards.
This one and the BBS.
The only real alternative to the BBS - is this message board.

I’ve been posting on here and the BBS for years.
I don’t know many off here - but I know quite a few people off the BBS.
On occasions I’ve asked them why they look at this message board but don’t post on here.
They more or less give me the same answer.

Now we have a Facebook site that’s attracted 1800 members and there is disquiet within the BBS which also has hundreds of members.
But not many (if any) have jumped ship or moved over from the Facebook site and appeared on here.
Has site admin on here wondered why this is ???

I know the reason why.

For years this message board hardly moved.
For days nothing was posted.
It’s only posters such as Animal that keep the wheels turning.
We need more posters like him on here to lift the interest.
But we haven’t got that.
We have about 10 to 20 posters that regularly post.

The BBS is a non profit voluntary message board.
This Football Mad message board is a commercial message board that operates to make a profit through advertising.
Football Mad need as many people on here as possible.
And yet we have only 10 to 20 people on here.

They don’t post on here as we don’t tow the party line and Shek hands with folk who we know are here to shaft us.

We don’t need adverts to keep our community going, it’s a tolerance we have to take.

We welcome anyone who wants to jump ship. As long as they contribute to the rowing, and not continually want to scream that they need more attention than others, amd that they are rowing more than the rest of us.
Posting is voluntary, it’s not compulsory to do it every x minutes, with the same topic.

Not gone anywhere Acido, despite the “regular haunt” comment on another post , as irregular as it is these days this is still my regular haunt and football spiritual home forum. I hope my lack of posting over the recent seasons isn’t taken as a slight against this forum. It is more for my own sanity , sometimes I use this forum to “vent”. I’ll try to be more involved Acido because for the most part it’s a good forum with healthy debate, it’s a shame that things can get personal and then it becomes a tit for tat slanging match. I have had my fair share of those on here in the past , before many of the current posters joined and I have concluded life is too short, there are real issues out there to worry about.

We are all supporters and want the best for our club but it’s getting harder as it becomes more clear by the day, success on the field is secondary to other business dealings and a blind commitment to a model that isn’t working for the fans.

If you don’t know then I suggest you run it passed the people governing Football Mad for them to make a judgement.

This person is hiding behind you.
He knows full well that he can say what he wants because you will be there to step in to defend him.
As admin you need to be impartial - and stamp out any abusive comments wherever they come from.

You have been told by site admin how to conduct yourself despite admin having reservations sbout allowing you on here after being banned by the BBS for racial posts. Accept what you have been told and behave accordingly instead of that of a scolded child.

YN putting a gun at Acido head when the vast majority of regular posters on here have tried to have normal correspondence with him, but failed due to his ongoing very poor manner hence a barrage of negative comments he gets and deserves.

This includes a relative new poster who has posted on this thread, who in my opinion has contributed very well to this forum with his comments whilst respecting opinions and comments of others.

YN says he will not stop posting on this site, we know the reasons for this. It's his only platform he is able to do be part of.

So, if he will not gracefully disappear and cannot be removed from this forum, the only solution is for the posters including me who have simply had enough to 100% ignore him.
