Ashley's PR man says he's still interested, which is positive.

Quantuma say the insurance policy thing would cost way more than the £2.5M being bandied about on social media.

Rooney says no club has enquired about Festy and Festy says nobody has contacted him....

...more proof, as if any were needed, that the Bun, the Fail and various clickbait sites are still in the business of not letting facts get in the way of destabilising Derby.

Ignore the tw@ts and let's rely on statements from Ashley, Quantuma and DCFC. They will be closer to the truth.

With regard to the EFL. They are being very quiet. Why?
Are they frightened that they KNOW MFC/WW/EFL would lose out if all the facts were addressed in a Court of Law and that such a loss would see Gibson reopen his £100M+ case against them and maybe even lead to the EFL appeal win being overturned, 9 points reinstated because the proof would be there that DCFC had kept them informed all the way on amortisation and they had agreed to it?

The 2 clubs will also know they have no chance in open court but a guaranteed win in a kangaroo court.

We're not paranoid but that doesn't mean they aren't after us

Not sure who we can ‘rely’ on, MA.

As others have said, certainly not the majority of the press especially the frankly abysmal DT who continue to prove that the concept of local journalism is dead.
I don’t feel equipped to comment on Quantuma’s handling of matters...leave that to GP and Swale...but their communication skills too have been seriously lacking.

Ashley, like all the other bidders, is playing games and indulging in brinkmanship. I suspect he wants to take over but again I don’t pretend to understand such matters and it seems to me that as soon as our ‘extension’ was granted then the DCFC ‘can’ was kicked further down the road and I doubt anything will be resolved before the very last moments of the month.

Imo a huge opportunity has been lost, probably purposely so, in that had things been sorted earlier we wouldn’t have had to lose those who’ve gone, might have been able to strengthen and would have stood a real chance of managing the ‘great escape’.
As it is, Championship survival appears increasingly unlikely and, despite the protest march which actually achieved nothing, we the fans continue to be treated with dismissive contempt by all the leading ‘players’.

P.S. Presumably the more inevitable our League One future becomes the cheaper the cost for potential buyers? Just a thought.

Probably not rA. As I understand the current situation, the bids are all in the same ball park, namely, just enough to settle 100% of football debt, 25% of other debt and the cost of buying back the ground. Somewhere round about £50M in total. Nothing in there for Moor Farm or for eventual claims from Boro/WW. Unless those debts are sorted at a minimum of that level, we get a 15 point deduction when we exit Admin.

I should imagine all bids have factored in relegation to League 1 and concomitant fall in TV revenue, gate receipts and sponsorship thus pressurising cash flow. Ain't no parachute on that fall.

Well we are down to bare bones on players so with the exception of Lawrence whose contract ends in June and Beilik we ahve few high earners, so the wage bill should not be the issue it has been for other "big" clubs that have been relegated.

BBC/EMT just announced that Morris and Boro’ have resolved their issues, removing the remaining obstacles to the takeover.
Good news. Funny how it took till after the ‘window’ had closed.

Or immediately prior to the Rams V Boro game when no doubt the air would be ringing with insults to Gibson and not just from Rams fans!

The statement says they have agreed a resolution whatever that may mean. but suspect now that Gibson has found a way to "save face" that might be the last we will hear about it, as any details will be confidential.

lets just hope the way is now clear for a new buyer to come in asap!

Rumour is, Boro will get a % of the ground sale? Dunno how that works and what about Wycombe?

Derby want to turn tables on EFL and make their OWN compensation claim if they finish below Reading.

OK it's the Sun i know but in theory why not, especially before the EFL scrap the rule where clubs can't sue each other
