Where have I said that, which post?

I'll donate £100 to Rotherham hospice if you can quote it here? If you can't, you make the donation.

The ONS said that this figure being repeated (17,000) is highly misleading and has been misunderstood by people who lack the capacity to interpret the data, like you.

Go and look on their god damn website where they literally issued a statement to counter what you're saying:
    https://blog.ons.gov.uk/2022/01/26/t...ly-misleading/

The figure the ONS explicitly clarify of deaths directly caused by covid is over 140,000. Here's a quote:
We distinguish between deaths that are “due to COVID-19” and those “involving COVID-19” to provide the most comprehensive information on the impact of the disease on mortality. More than 140,000 deaths have been due to COVID-19, meaning that it has been determined as the underlying cause.
Now that you've had overwhelming evidence to the counter, do you want to admit you were wrong?

What are you not getting at this point?

So the ONS info you didn't like were misleading, why didn't you sue the media outlets and the ONS for producing the wrong data?

Is this your weird way of admitting you got it wrong and were one of the sheep that was misled?

I've literally not seen any media article claiming that only 17,000 people died of Covid, nor interpreted anything I've read that way. You're the only person I've seen make that claim. Maybe you just lack critical thinking skills?

You're the person who misunderstood or blindly accepted misinformation and then shared it here and made yourself look a fool - don't you see that?

Also, you accused me of claiming that "That the figures of 150,000+ dont take into account people who have been run over but where healthy but happened to have covid"

I gave you an incredibly easy opportunity to have me donate £100 to Rotherham hospice, it would only take you seconds of effort... why have you not done this?

So go on... share the post, £100 to Rotherham hospice easy. But you should donate if you can't. Sound fair?

    I won't hold my breath.

Are you still going on? I said the ONS data was released was 15K I said my opinion was that the true figures will be nearer 15k than 150k.

There is no wrong or right John everyone can hold an opinion; we can roll over and agree with any old waff you come out with

You said it was your opinion based on ONS figures. So let me ask 2 questions:

Have you read the ONS clarification I provided that says deaths are directly over 140k, and does this information make you question the "opinion" you expressed?

Where did I make the claim you say I made? £100 to the hospice at stake, why do you keep ignoring it?

Deafening silence again. Do you at least want to have the decency to admit you were wrong about what I had said? Since all you need to do is quote a post and you keep not doing?

Come on gm, shall we schedule in another time for you to respond? You've gone suspiciously quiet.
