    War of the world's...

War Of The World's is one of my all time favourite albums and it's coming to Nottingham next month so I thought that I would treat myself to a night out and book at ticket... £179! Sod that, that's crazy money for a show and even more than seeing Genesis, anyone on here seen it in the past?

Aye, that’s too much for any ticket at far as I’m concerned. Great album though, I have it on CD somewhere.

I have Jeff Wayne’s Musical Version of The War of the Worlds on vinyl.

    Richard Burton was the narrator.

You can still get tickets for £57.75 Chalky.

Were you looking at the VIP Packages?

I've just been back on for a look howoldboy and the site that the link took me to was Vivargo and their tickets are £179,when onto the Arenas site which I admit I should have done first and they are sold out of the £57 tickets and th cheapest that are left is £82,I still won't bother though, does anyone know if venues reduce the prices with a few hours left?

Not a chance, prices are prices.. you could take a chance on a tout outside?

    I have it on Vinyl, “Cassette” (I think &#129300 & CD…

One of the all time classics but get very if not severely emotional when I listen to it & Forever Autumn so barred by Mrs BDB. It was my choice played at my parents funeral along with Mums, Who wants to live forever by Queen 😢😢

I won't bother with a tout but if Arena sold then for £40 with a couple of hours left I would buy them, you would think that they would try to get whatever they could for them,£80 odd is to much considering nobody from the album is in it

Sadly not many things come down in price, flights used to but now get more expensive nearer the time as an example.

The original cast would be a problem, Richard Burton & Phil Lynott have passes & David Es*** must be pushing 80…

From what I have seen advertised it is an immersive experience so it’s more visual.. I have thought of going to Manchester if it was on here but never got round to it..

It’s like the Jersey Boys, Frankie Vallie is not in it but it’s a great musical story..

£80 is not bad for a night out, spend more than that going to the Harvester 😢

I'm presuming that you didn't pay £80 a ticket to see Jersey Boys and when you went to Harvester you wasn't on your own?

    I rest my case,overpriced

I've just googled the tour, each venue has three shows per day and at £50 - £120 min per ticket means that they must be raking it in,no wonder there's no discounts
