I get that. He is a good athlete and footballer. But really he hides at times he isn't a leader - fair enough but that's made sure he really has played 25% of games for us the rest were guff and is the key reason our midfield and goal scoring is rubbish. He shouldn't be relying on decent players beside him (as he certainly hasn't had that) - I like him a lot at times most of the time I wonder what he is actually doing. So for me - no contract. Harsh yes as his attitude is good but he is a luxury player and we can't afford that.

I have no problem with him at all. Just think his time here has run he has been average overall. Brilliant at times but he isn't Billy Kirkwood lets be honest.

Harkes is the embodiment of a confidence player, if the team play well…..so does he! I’d keep him, he has shown again and again with he right balance in midfield he is a real asset. The goals he has scored in tight games alone are enough to convince me he should be in the team.

People forget the level we are, Harkes would walk into any other team outside the uglies, he is coming into his peak, very underrated and tarred with a narrative that people have jumped on, criminally underrated... look at the piece of skill v Motherwell took two players out of the game, the home derby close to scoring one of the all time best goals in a Derby another the nutmeg through the legs and strike on goal as well as two derby goals already, winner in a new firm, goal at Celtic, winner at thistle, crucial goals and a few assists in a team that's been built on being solid more than all of attack, add in the work be does, him getting back in the box late in stopped a certain fun equaliser at Tannadice after thar brilliant tackle from Mulgrew, otherwise Cummings had an easy finish

He is always part of our best midfield usually, earlier in season with butch and fuchs vs Sevco, excellent, he cut out the pass that led to the goal, then with Levitt and Fuchs, he was excellent at Easter Rd etc, more with Levitt and McDonald, just looks like it works

It is fine saying we should keep Harkes, near everyone on here agreed Harkes had a really good game v Well, that many on here said he had a really good game including me, so that says to me a lot of us know a good game and a poor or average game, i honestly have not heard his name on here for months , Harkes played really well, i can't think one comment any game before Well loads came on and said other that game he played great today or last week..You can't just say he is a real asset, it that it , what does he offer, many goals does he create , many great passes does he do in a game, many great tackles does he do, that is all the things you need to be able to do , not go missing..lets see how well he plays now until end season, i hope he has a stormer, but i can't see it , hes been here 3 years and games he does nothing and offers nothing is staggering. lets see how he does now till end as i said.

Tarred with a narrative that people have jumped on🤣Is no one allowed a different opinion from you? You seem to think that being over the top positive makes your opinions balanced. No it doesn't.

You've made Harkes seem like Iniesta there. How many bids did we knock back for him in the last window🤨must've been loads based on that wee class montage you've done for him......you should do video for him on YouTube but don't include the bits where he misplaces passes, pulls out of tackles or generally just runs about aimlessly doing fk all👍

Not only is Harkes a good football player, but his missus is gorgeous, sat next to her last game at Tyncastle

You're just jumping on the positive narrative that Shedka has tarred Harkes with but I'll take your opinion on board even though I don't agree with it👍
