Good point, very similar to my mention of it being another Connolly/Pawlett type extension where we end up with a high earner eventually not playing so much as we should be looking for better. At best he should be a sub/squad player and on a wage that takes that in to account.

FWIW I think he has looked much better playing further forward recently, that for me is the only role we can play him. Each to their own but i really dont see how anyone can think hes good enough for us in a traditional midfield position and talk of him walking in to any non OF teams in the league is absolute nonsenese

He is always part of our best midfield usually, earlier in season with butch and fuchs vs Sevco, excellent, he cut out the pass that led to the goal, then with Levitt and Fuchs, he was excellent at Easter Rd etc, more with Levitt and McDonald, just looks like it works
Hey Ian.... how much did you pay Shedka for his account?

Aye there is a bidding war on its way. Hearts,Hibs,Sheep and 6 English Championship clubs all fighting it out for the American's signature. The surprising favourites to land the Yank are EPL bound Fulham who have some kind of partnership with the Scottish Premiership side.

Were you Arab Plumber in an earlier life Ballumbie?
Reason I'm asking is that every Saturday night on Mad he'd come on & tell us that Stuart Armstrong played 'one good game in six'.
He didn't rate him at all.
One good game in six. Could Harkes be the new Armstrong?

Ach well some things never change.

I think Arab Plumber was the boy in the Dode Lower who boo'ed Scott Fraser cos he flicked his hair in his goal celebration.

Could be right there Smed's as Ballumbie Arab once fixed the ballcock valve in The Bedsit's outside facility.

Nice, forgot all about that... Conway used to get it around 2007-2008 even though it was obvious he was a good player

Not read anything since but Harkes is still a good player and been one of our best this season and proved wrong those who said he wouldn't handle the step up but he has took it in his stride and improved again on last season, that can't even be argued, that's why the club want to keep him and he is coming into his peak football years, let's hope the club get him tied down but reckon he will decide to move, although I read him and his missus apparently love life in Scotland so we will see 🇺🇸

Forgot you rated powers higher than Butcher or Harkes

He was woeful and as slow as a week in jail, inferior to both players, now he did think he was iniesta/xavi, would get relegated playing someone like him in Harkes place this season
