    What is it that........

....... we as fans see that managers don't? Take young Gardner-Hickman as an example. Correct me if I'm wrong, but each time he's started for us he has been voted MOTM. Why then, is he not being picked on a regular basis? I realise that we don't see them in training but as the old adage goes 'the proof of the pudding is in the eating'. Surely what they do on a match day is more important than what you they do in training. A player could be the worst trainer in the squad but if he turns it on in the game, so what! It's not as if our midfield are playing well. Both Ismael and Steve Bruce haven't selected him. I'm sorry, but I just don't get it.

I think it's the trend these days not to burn out "young" players. But young players today are 20-22 years old. Asa Hartford, Ally Rob, Martyn Bennett, Bryan Robson and Derek Statham were first team regulars at 17 and veterans by their early twenties. Cyrille was thrown into the top division from non league at 19.
Personally I would play Gardner-Hickman. I would also give Cleary a run up front, he can't score any fewer goals than the present lot.

Couldn’t agree more about TGH. Also why is O’Shea not starting and he’s one of our best players? If you are on the bench you are fit to play!!!!!

Why is Tolluch on the bench and he does not start or show what he can do? Carrol gives 100% but he’s past it to be brutally honest!

No doubt come 5th March at Hull that useless absolute w anker Livermore will start again!!

To be honest getting fed up with the club! Nothing against Bruce but he’s sticking with the players that are s hite or he’s worked with before,

As for Reach - he reminds me of a f uckin pansy in my back garden!! Pereira must be 1000 times better than him!!! Reach would not know the meaning of creative as the useless
    f ucker can’t even pass!

PS - Cleary must be looking at other options too - he would be mad to stay at our shower!! Could he be any worse than Carrol?

Let's hope Gourlay is monitoring this and gives Bruce some fans 'Feedback'

Baggies manager Steve Bruce told BBC WM:

"Well it's not acceptable and I won't accept that. The way we just fell apart was just blatantly obvious for everybody and to the travelling supporters I can only say that I apologise and I will do my utmost to make sure that it doesn't happen.

"We were nowhere near the response I would like especially when we went a goal down. Yes we're on a bad run and confidence is low, I can understand that but we have to have a better reaction, as soon as they scored really we just huffed and puffed and didn't do enough like we did in the first half to impose ourselves against difficult opposition.

"We didn't do enough second half. I can't apologise enough to them (supporters) because if there's anything that disappoints me as a team of mine its falling away the way it did.

"We were better in the first half, I'm really disappointed in the second. I'm hoping we've bottomed it out. I'm looking for a response and looking at other people to freshen it up and give someone else a chance."

Change is coming.....I don't think many will be around going forward....he has to change it around.......

    A quandary indeed Leics buddy!
It seems to me that a player’s reputation in terms of recent years performances warrants a priority selection. Clearly evident with the Livermore situation. Accordingly the ‘senior players’, irrespective of last match performances, are rewarded. Maybe some misguided direction that one mustn’t leave a £20,000+ a week man on the bench in favour of a academy youngster.
Maybe this thought process is endemic in the Club and contributing to our continue loss of decent youngsters to other Clubs.
Another byproduct of ‘player power’ which is evident at WBA

Joking apart Des, you could stick any of us up front at 60 plus and we couldn’t have a worse return.

A traffic cone would get on the end of something if we stuck one in the opposition’s box!

Bruce says he will change it but don’t believe it!! O’Shea is our best player so why is he on the bench? Bring in a free like Wiltshire to add creativity as not one midfielder is decent and TGH needs to start! Do we honestly think Cleary and Tolluch would be any worse than Carrol? Yes Carrol tries but so did HRK but they are equally ineffective!

Going to Hull but mainly for the day out and a drinking session! Let’s hope Livermore does not start as after a few pints and a good mood - I might boo the useless t wat!

Reach is about as effective as a young Debbie Harry naked and a guy by her side is a shirt lifter!!!

We’ve done this loss over the years and lost young players because they can’t get in to the team
TGH has been great but we all know he’s not the finished article and will have some games where he maybe drops a clanger or is quiet, but the supporters and the players would understand this and it will be his education in the game which he needs to progress, we are all stronger in our lives work or person due to the lessons we learn

Problem is most of these young guys only get a chance when it’s a team full of young uns like the league cup, which is pointless as it’s too much, they need to play with and be covered by players with more experience.
We would benefit from their raw talent which seems to get coached out of them

I hear another one of our young lads is off to Chelsea aged 15 too
