Talking of anecdotal gubbins, did you know that the indigenous peoples of North America walk in single file?

The one I saw did any road up.

I didn’t seek to ‘discredit’ anything. I merely don’t think vague anecdotes are worth holding up as evidence no matter how much and for whatever reason you may want them to be. The same is true of mine which was my point.
I’m also astonished you have the time to spend quantifying people according to their colour. I know you’re fonder of counting than most but there is a limit.
Its very boring waiting 20 minutes for a train to decide to depart and then slowly make its way towards home in the windstorms! I tend to notice no maskers now after all this time, spotted a common feature and so decided to pass my time this way. Question is, when does an anecdote become a sample? How big does it have to be? Obviously my sample is distorted by time and place but otherwise it covered a fair cross section of southern London populace........

If that’s the question then you’re clearly asking the wrong person, , and if you’re claiming twenty minutes in a station represents an accurate ‘cross section of Southern London populace’ then I think you’re clutching at straws.

    Interesting.
    WTF? Did I say that?
I think you're own immagination wants to see that.

I told you before what I experianced Birmingham- Dubai- Bangkok -then around Thailand. It was obvious the middle easterners, were the biggest culprits.

Now I travel to Germany, knowing how efficient the Germans are. I am interested to see if my observations carry into the German efficiency system.

Of course, you see that as victimisation, in the same way as Andy/GP, say the black community were theirs. You stick with the white were worse fault.
No one is right you plank. It is a case of when/where you are and to pin it down, is as stupid as your examples with their location.
You really do have a chip on your shoulder at times.

Lol...now pick those toys up and put them back in your pram.

Where did you say that? Try reading your own post #2611.

I’ve never said ‘white were worse’. Why would I? My whole point is that being mask compliant transcends enthnicity.

Dont forget the 20 minute on the journey and the 10 minutes storm delays, hence the 200 sample size!

My toys? It's you who stamps his feet everytime someone says something that rubs your liberal morals up.
    I completely disagree.
You always use the white people example. Now my assumption really around that, is that you are mainly observing in a white majorty area.
Makes perfect sense. But it always comes out, in answer to someone else saying they have seen worse compliance from BAME.

Mine was based on a journey of 7000 miles. Even in the middle east airport, they were always taking them off. yet all the other travellers complied.
In Thailand every group of middle easterner, was poorly compliant.
Thais? 90% compliant, with wearing, yet seemed to rule bend often with distancing/ groups .
white westerners? 60% still poor as it isn't our country.

But I'll say it again. What we observe could be where and when. Buxton would have a mostly white data spread, Croydon, mostly black.
Stop being so touchy about other peoples observations.

Thus there would seem to be no ethnic based conclusion to be reached...other than that complacency/stupidity transcends ethnicity. Quelle surprise!

As regards the second...she was exceedingly dim.
Sorry rA but that reinforces my belief that you just don't 'get it'. GP and I have both, in what I consider a clear manner, been trying to explain the weakness in your line of reasoning, and I can't think of any other ways of making it clear. And I don't even mean the BAME thing, I mean the basic concept

Nice try Tricky...but we were talking about where and what you said.

The original context was Germany and my comment, which was intended to be helpful, about what I had found there a few months ago. You said, and I quote... ‘but this is Bavaria, there is now a massive influx of middle easterners so I will be comparing that with what I have witnessed here and in the far east’.

The ‘that’ you refer to are the ‘middle easterners’...hence my comment about where your interest/agenda lie. Don’t think I’m being ‘touchy’ reaching that conclusion.

P.S. Andy...we regularly share different political perspectives. I ‘get it’ just as much as you do. I’m not going into details now because it might embarrass you, but you may remember, in the days when we used to share pm’s, how you jumped to an entirely incorrect conclusion about who was responsible for something that had happened regarding your property. I’m not claiming to be always right...none of us are and if you remember that incident you’ll recognise that you’re certainly no exception.

Yes I did, as unlike your examples, it will give me base to access my previous observations on, in a different environment.
Will it be the same as in Dubai airport, or will they be as efficient as the Germans in compliance in another counrty.

You really don't understand the argument here do you?
    It's actually quite funny
