I never suggested that just because Swale says something it makes it right...but, knowing a bit about birds - as he obviously does - he was 100% right and you hadn’t a clue what you were talking about.

Better things to do, Tricky. ‘Debating’ with the ‘gang of three’ earlier this week was just unpleasant. With GP on Wednesday it was, at least, respectful.
I’ve given up trying to work out AF’s ‘humour’, ‘lightheartedness’ or ‘joshing’...whatever he wants to call it. It’s seldom funny, imo, and invariably just a method employed to avoid him admitting being wrong.
Who is the ‘Putin clone’? I suppose at this stage I could employ our moderator’s strategy and say, ‘oh...I was just joshing’.
Except I wasn’t...he actually introduced the comparisons, but the change in our ‘leaders’ persona, his dogmatism, inability to be wrong or even ever say sorry display certain small scale similarities with the man currently casting a giant shadow over Europe.

Frankly the forum has become an unpleasant place to be. There are two or three regular contributors who it is always possible to have sensible, polite and well informed debate with. There is Swale who I invariably agree with on the political issues but who often allows his frustrations to get the better of him and then there are the gang of three who, these days, just seem intent on seeing the DCFC forum going the same way as the Forest one.

rA Ive tried three times recently to bring the thread back on track, in fact in response to an earlier request by yourself. each time that’s been ignored by anyone likely to offer debate, including yourself, so I’ll try again. I’m on mobile so can’t navigate the forum so look at the previous page of this thread, reference my post, reference the post number it refers to (my response to your earlier post) and work back from there. Then respond if you wish.

Apologies if my apparently successful efforts to wind Swale up have impacted you. Sincerely.
