    The 80/81 side specialised in 1-0 wins but this seasons squad is simply sensational. Of course we need a bit of luck but we are much more than that. Up those bloody fantastic Millers.

    Throughout this season posters have seemed to be desperate to nominate teams as better than us. I'm talking about genuine, honest posters, not you (Obviously). Fair enough. It's all about opinions. Wigan have cropped up a few times as "best team in the league" - perhaps not after being hammered at home today by a team who have been on the end of a few hammering themselves (not least by us). Some of our stats this season are remarkable. On TV recently I saw that our goals conceded in away games (5 in 15)was a record for all English leagues. It's now 5 in 17. Fantastic
