You say that. But I would not contemplate selling him unless an amazingly better player comes into that position. To be honest, there can't be many that you could get for £40m. Call me crazy but I'd prefer JoLo on a hard Away day than a flashy midfielder like Gini Wini.

Consider that even when JoLo was pure shoite up front, he always put a shift in and I always saw his contribution to build-up play. Now.... he looks like a serious threat arriving on the end of crosses from set plays. If Wood can find his mojo again, we would not be nice to face from corners and such like.

You're talking a monster squad of Wood, a reinvigorated JoLo, Burn and even Lascelles all being handy in the air.

Agree, Trini, I'd take Joelintoon every time ahead of Gini.

    Wood, however....

Totally agree mate, Big Joe covers every blade of grass and Wood with a fit Wilson along side would be immense!

Having seen how well they played today I can only imagine how much better the squad would be with Wilson, Trippier, Manquillo, and Fernandez in the mix. Can't believe how much the team has changed in attitude and effort since Bruce departed.
