I think it's great a point away at one of your play off rivals. I would imagine SM fans will feel it's 2 points dropped because they were at home. A bit like us against Halifax the other week, Win your home games & take points away from home, be it 3pts against mid to lower sides & a point from your rivals is what will get you up.
Unfortunately this has been our let down. Just get in the play offs & who knows? Could be 3rd time lucky!!

I don’t think he would get crucified. He actually played for Torquay in midfield last season and did a pretty good job by all accounts. It doesn’t matter how many CB’s I’ve seen successfully converted to midfield, it’s can Cameron do it and does he make Notts stronger. It’s a discussion point.

In terms of playing an extra defender in defence, a lot of the talk is about about Notts needing more of a physical presence in midfield. It possible solution.
If he wasn't our best defender I might go along with the idea but when he isn't in defence we more often lose.

Maybe in isolation it's not so bad, but it comes a week after we blew a 1-0 lead in similar circumstances having made similarly baffling subs. Notts have now dropped enough points from winning positions in away games against the rest of the top seven alone to be one point behind Stockport. Without even mentioning that we've done the same thing at home to Bromley and Grimsby, and did our best to bottle a two goal lead against Stockport at ML.

We're a decent team, but our management of games when ahead late on is absolutely appalling.
I agree with you once again
I know we were down to the bare bones but seriously what does Burchnall see in Brunt
His opportunity to grab a place in the team was last night and frankly he was garbage
Every time he's played he's been really poor
He hides away from the action, he doesn't make challenges, he was a passenger all game, he is so slow he can't keep up with play and his distribution is piss poor. We may as well have played with ten men
He should have been subbed and we should have gone 4-4-2 to help the full backs
It was obvious from the 60th minute how much joy they were getting down the wings, DKE and Chicksen were being doubled up on. The worrying thing for me is that nothing was done to combat this
Really strange substitutions again. I actually thought Notts were poor second half and were fortunate to come away with a point
Thing is tempted looked totally beatable

    Jaros
    Rawlinson - Francis - Roberts - Chicksen
    Kelly-Evans - Vincent - Lacey - Rodrigues
    Brunt -Wootton

Every other team in this league tries to kill it. Physio on for some cramp, walking to take throw ins and all of that. Even though we were under pressure we seemed to have no intention of slowing the game down at all.
When a defending team see a player running to take a throw-in it can panic the defenders into wondering why? Where to run? Who to mark? It doesn't matter all that much if said throw-in leads to nothing, it will just put them in a worry next time, thinking you've got a plan.

Similar results happen with a quickly taken free kick. Panicking the enemy is always a good thing.

This stat is very distorted due to the two Barnet games!
Surely a lot of the teams above us have hammered a Barnet or a Dover this season making the 2nd highest scorers (goals per game) far from "very distorted".

Great to see Rùben continue his fine record of goals in away games this season.

With Notts' failing to take their chances in so many games recently coming up against a NA side difficult to predict a 3-3 unless you do it for every game

Not sure if anyone was 'respecting the point' at any point during the game but sure sounded entertaining.

Rawlinson and Lacey are more than adequate. Despite conceding 3 goals, they did ok last night. Certainly with the aerial bombardment. Putting Cameron into midfield strengthens the defensive unit.
