So there must be someone offering more or are they thick as pig shyte?

This saga is like watching someone putting all of their money into a one armed bandit, losing more than they intended, then nicking off others only to lose that as well and then stopping anyone else playing on the machine until it's emptied and demanding the losses are returned.

They’ve just sold a player for 2 million to raise some funds.not sure how they managed that outside the transfer window but hey ho there will be some loophole somewhere.

I think players can be sold it's just the player can't play until the next transfer window so it's unlikely any European based player would agreed to that.
But this player has gone to the US so I presume their window is open now or opens shortly. Perhaps the MLS doesn't have a transfer window

MLS season just started so transfer window closes soon. Charlotte FC are a new franchise and have only just joined the league. P2 L2 so far but did have 75,000 watch their opening home game last weekend. He's signed for 4 years as what's called their 'designated player'. Not sure what it means in detail (foreigner maybe?) but essentially the same as Beckham was at LA Galaxy in his playing days.

It's all here if anyone is is at all interested. Sounds like it's something to do with financial 'jiggery pokery' , something he should be used to having been at Derby

Derby County lost money on the player sold to MLS side Charlotte FC.

The Polish 23 year old winger Kamil Jozwiak, was bought for around £4m from Lech Poznan.
BBC reporting a £2m fee, while reporter Alan Nixon saying around £1m fee.
It would seem the administrators are glad to get any money in, plus get one off the wage roll.
