They won’t know the definition of the word mortgage! Maybe they can help the unfortunate ones who work for pittance - but will they?

Players should now travel like Harrogate Town on match days - modest coach - bag of oranges etc. For the champions league - flying with Jet2 in economy and staying in a modest doubletree Hilton hotel!

One thing that really gets me about this Chelsea saga is the number of billionaire owners interested in buying the club as reported by the media.. not sure whether to believe it or not. Surely buying off Bromi bi tch would mean giving him the money he needs, why should he be receiving this money? Don’t these billionaires think to themselves ‘it’s best to stay away from this because i’m effectively funding bromi bit ch’ and where that money would end up and the close relation he has with that poutaine (the french term).

Totally agree Regis but when it comes to big bucks and corruption many don’t care - government/prince Andrew etc. The money from all the sale should go to fund the many hospitals bombed without any care for civilians! I wouldn’t release a penny back to him!

Am I missing something?

The licence to run Chelsea until the end of the season does not allow for the club to be sold.

If any prospective buyer wants the club they need to seek an amendment to the licence and the Government have already said that no amendment will be sanctioned to allow the sale to go through until they can prove that none of the purchase monies end up in Abromovich’s hands.
