Went hoping for a good game but feared what we got. Just a midfield battle and mess with the ball lumped into a sponge. I thought we at least tried to play in the first half and were the better team but they over powered us in the 2nd without causing too many problems. Yet another clean sheet for our defence to be proud of away from home. It's freaky.

Ogbene paired with Smith worth a look but made him anonymous. Might work against some teams but didn't get a sniff until put back out right. We sorely miss him out there when he's not playing as he torments teams despite his lack of end product.

Angus back to his best though. Worried to see him after his midweek showing but he and the others at the back were solid. Good choices there again with Reg back on the scene. Just need to solve the striker problem, but that's a big one and may cost us.

Next 2 games crucial to take into the break. Warne needs to get the mentality right. Set up for the kill from the off.

A game that was well negotiated.1 point and parity due to the draw at MK. It will only remain a good point though IF we get at least 4 points over the next 2 games. In fact 6 points should be the real target because I honestly believe that will see us over the line. What is unnerving a lot of us at the moment is our lack of genuine goal scoring opportunities and a general lack of command over the majority of recent games that we witnessed week in and week out over the earlier parts of the season. We need to get that back.......and quick!

I must be a mind reader! I've got Angus in my back 3. If only Smith for up front go 4-5-1 Vickers; Edmonds-Green Angus Ihiekwe or Wood Harding; Chieo Rathbone Barlaser Wiles Miller; Smith

The reason Cheio was poor in the 1st half was because the ball was coming down to him with snow on all the time.....

Next 2 home games are ***** now....Lincoln game is our game in hand over MKD.

    Good point away from home.
I was just repeating what PW said prematch. Him and GA were interviewed pitchside by sky tv. They weren’t interviewed separately and PW was very complementary about what GA had achieved at Wycombe.

    Seemed to be good friends

Yes heard about that on Praise and Grumble.

Short and sweet. WE played Wycombe at their own game today and shut shop up on them. Thing is we didn't feign 10 minutes of unnecessary injury time, what tools they are for that stupid gamesmanship. They must all have RADA experience.

A point, we didn't lose, status quo at the top, another clean sheet setting yet another away record, will this ever be beaten? What's to moan about?

    There's a saying....." If you can't win then don't lose "
That's what we did at Wycombe in a drab game against a typical Wycombe team.
Better first half and didn't do anywhere enough to win the game in the second half.
Chieo playing up front central just didn't work and we looked much better when he moved back to his usual wide right.
Service into Smith and Chieo was non-existent and very few clear cut chances.
    Both defences dominated.

Pros..... another clean sheet, another away point on the board.

Cons.....my neck hurts watching the ball being headed / kicked up in the air.

Well done the 988 Millers supporters, noisy throughout.

That marathon I usually mention at the start of the season is about to turn into a sprint and unfortunately at present we're literally limping over the finish line.
Much better required against Lincoln and Shrewsbury.

During that interview GA said that they would love to emulate Rotherham and keep getting promoted and relegated

    It’s another clean sheet
    Getting. Key defenders back playing
Teams will come away with worse than nil nil there.
It’s now as you were with another game left

Ogbene didn’t work with out with Smith in this game, Wiles certainly didn’t work later on either so why not put Kayode on ?

Thought Harding should’ve been subbed earlier, he seemed totally knackered

    I just can’t find a motm

    I’ll take the draw
