We have the luxury of not needing to overtake anyone on points owing to our goal difference, so 5 points doesn't actually sound a bridge too far just yet.
Saying that, Blackburn are a bogey team and I expect defeat... 0-1
That five point gap is proving a bit of a problem, as is Barnsley's return to (relative) form. Anyone got any hopes for our midweek fixtureor will it be a repeat of saturday?
Me? 1-1 with a better rub of the green

Promo candidates, too powerful for us!
3-1 loss!
You have Blackburn/Coventry/Preston/Fulham and QPR coming up.
Get your finger out, I'm relying on you.
Sane feelings as pre Bournemouth. On paper we're on a hiding to nothing but a draw isn't out of the question. I'd be ecstatic if we won.
1-1
Sorry...agree with mac.
As members of the soul community say.... keep the faith.
Folk say it's the hope that kills but I'd advocate not killing the hope.
Admire your optimism, MA...but hope has to be tempered by reality.
The commitment of the players, the fans and the management cannot be faulted and we’ve got closer than I ever thought possible.
My major - realistic - hope now is about next season and the (increasingly forlorn?) hope that we can start it without a points penalty and without losing our youngsters or our manager.
Ironically it has been the hope that’s killed us, in so much as uncertainty about - rather than definite - relegation may have confused the situation where prospective buyers are concerned.
So, along with you, I’ll ‘keep the faith’, but honestly and realistically...I see few points (4 or 5) being gathered from our next five fixtures...and my hopes and faith are for a fresh start, a clean sheet and a decent owner in League One next season.
