I really don't get how old people love power and money! Putin and most of his inner circle like Lavrov are 70+ are filthy rich.

Without being morbid ( i am getting old too ) these guys who are around 70 might on average have 15 years left to live. So why oh why don't they enjoy their huge sums of wealth and let the younger generation have happy lives? I really don't get it!!!

Same with sleepy Joe who looks like the walking dead - why does he not let someone like Kamala Harris who is a sharp young bright cookie take over and then he can grow tomatoes in his greenhouse. Same with old fart judges - it must be the power and money that keeps them going but they should retire gracefully. Law is constantly changing with new policies and rights and it's 2020 and not the 60's when someone was called to the Bar then.

It would be very doubtful if someone would be allowed ( nor would the passengers want it ) if a 70 plus aged individual took the controls of a jumbo jet. So why should someone this age have the power to destroy the world!

As my accountant said - you can't take it with you! - only leave money/assets when you go if you have totally fulfilled your own life and been on luxury holidays.

I get some want to keep busy once retiring ( me included ) but surely unless you need the money - enjoy the money you have. For me I would question Mr Hayes Travel who had an heart attack and died in his office - what was the point? Would he have died on his sun bed with no stress and spending and enjoying the millions he had in the bank.

It's a strange old world! When your almost 70 like Putin is there no remorse having lived your life ( almost ) and then you see because of your own actions young women and children being butchered? You would hope there's heaven and there's hell and you don't have the choice of which path is taken!
