Megson was an Owl through and through- one of their own- how could Mandaric do this to them at such a crucial stage of the season? The rest is history Owls finished strongly and promotion was secured.

Mandaric made the tough decision. There were no sacred cows ( or pigs) for him. Promotion meant everything.

Does TS have the bottle to do this at RUFC?

    Replace Warne with Warnock?

Failing that maybe Richard Wood as manager could get us over the line?
IBS you make me smile sometimes.....go wobble your head pal in a dark corner. Now is the time for Stewart to stand by Warne and not break up what has been a very good partnership. If anything and no matter what happens he needs to be looking at extending his contract.

Also tried by scunny and look how that as cascaded since the defeat against us..also tried by Salford when in play offs postions and they didn’t even end up qualifying for them…if memory serves I think that may have been the same manager for both graham Alexander…

Which is true, PW is still a very good fit for this club, its set up, its chairman, its budget and its fans ( well most of them)

But we’ve got to get used to Groundhog Day, mysterious injuries, square peg team selections and a predictable playing style and tactics.

With PW and management team it’s what you see is what you get.
