We played a lot of pretty stuff and good one and 2 touch moves but my lasting thoughts are that we have fallen into some old, bad habits again. Marking. When we got the ball we were reasonably tightly marked, they had acres of space which allowed them to look better than they are. Their goal, as well taken as it was, is testament to it. They passed and moved into space which allowed them to make the multi pass move that led to the goal. The shot? Well placed and IMO, Allsop was a good yard too far to his left leaving the far post "open". His one real mistake of the day. I've also come to the conclusion that the multitude of negative passes are because there's no decent forward pass on because the front 4 aren't seeking out space.

Sibs unlucky to hit the post with his late header.

Ebiowei. I've seen a player in him in his first few appearances, in flashes. Those flashes caused some tossers to hit social media with "he's crap" posts. My take was that he's skilful on the ball, has lightening feet and likes to take players on. Against Coventry we saw it in spades. He's obviously doing the business in training or Rooney wouldn't pick him. He's now translated that into a game situation. I'm looking forward to seeing more of that. No pressure though. He's 18 and, like all our other young uns, he'll have off days as well. He's got the basics. He now needs time and experience. My MOTM by a country mile.

2 points lost rather than 1 gained and the situation wasn't helped by Reading beating Blackburn.

As it has been for much of the season, survival is possible but no more than that in its likelihood.
I thought the foul on Buchanan was a bigger ‘shout’ than the Lawrence one, MA.

As regards Ebiowei. Suspect there’s a genuine player in there and he’s possibly going to prove the most impressive of our youngsters. As with so many of the ‘young guns’...particularly Ebiowei, Cashin, Buchanan and Knight...I fear they’re likely to be targeted by other clubs in the same way as Plange and Ebosele have been.
That really sums up the DCFC tragedy at the moment. Can’t remember a time when we had so many of such quality coming through but there’s a very real possibility that we’ll lose them all.

I wasn't on about you specifically Maddy. I was talking about the teams at the bottom in general.
    Everyone says 50 points survival.
So 45- 50 is the scrap area.
The way its looking 42 points could see a team stay up.

I’ve become angry at football in general

Forest are bigger cheats than us with their dodgy owner using a football manager cheat add to circumvent the ffp stuff by selling players to himself but the efl... don’t want to know about that

No.. it’s us that have been robbed in playoff finals by bigger cheats who are now being done over by a piece of s*it former owner ffs. Forget it, clubs like Norwich and Fulham can do as they please, clubs like Bournemouth in their 6000 seater shed can spend 30m a signing and have a squad of 50 on 30k per player a week but we can’t even bring back 38 year old defender...

    Stick it up your ar3e

    And one last thing

What did Morris do with the money made from the sales of ince, vydra, Hughes, Hendricks, Lowe, bogle, Bennett, etc?

Yes we spent money but it wasn’t all spending we made a ton back from player sales as well

I’d love to know what happened to it, in fact when you add it all together we made more in sales than we spent...

    Very miffed

Pissing DCFCArmy off is one of the very few positives related to the current impending disaster that is the Rams

And Buchanan seems better at CB than LB. can't defend in that position.
