The question, was it not, was what is a "proper" nationalist. I have little doubt that she would ideally want independence, I have many significant doubts that she is doing all she humanly can to accelerate the process and is more than happy to pocket the union pound (at least a million of them since she became leader and that's before we get to her other (worse) half and how much he pockets each year safe in the knowledge that her current tactics will maintain an SNP majority in Holyrood in perpetuity (whilst of course maintaining the £250,000 per annum Sturgeon/Murrell cash bonanza year after year).
If she was really serious about it she would not be in a position 8 years after the last referendum that she still doesn't have a plan or answers to some of the fundamental questions that she needs to properly answer to persuade enough of the floating voters to vote yes next time e.g. currency etc.
Anyone who believes they are gearing up for a referendum next year is deluded
It's a bad thing in any democracy to have a Government of any shade to not have to try particularly hard safe in the knowledge that no matter what they do (good or bad) they will end up still being in power with pretty much the same number of seats, which is where we are currently in Scotland - there is a Government and give or take 60 MSP's who know they have a very highly paid job for life as long as there is no referendum
