I echo your feelings, heartbreaking to watch that, God only knows how people like her are coping with what is left of their lives. Russia should remain a pariah state for very many years to come; I read a report that an independent polling company did a survey recently in Russia and the results showed that well over half of Russians approved of Putin and his war and an even higher proportion believed that Ukraine should be part of Russia. What a place. If Putin is ever captured, a very unlikely event, I wouldn’t want him put on trial in The Hague, I’d chuck him to a crowd of Ukrainian women whose sons have been murdered by his scum ‘soldiers’, that would be a far more apt ending of his miserable life.

When this awful war is over, it wouldn’t surprise me one bit if the likes of FIFA and UEFA trip over themselves in a rush to get Russia back into the international football arena; if it were down to me, they would be outcasts from all sport until Putin is dead and full financial reparations have been made to Ukraine. Please God, give Putin a heart attack, although that would be too quick for the bas***d.

I echo your last paragraph! Russia should be banned for at least five years from every sporting event until a review takes place. They disgust me!

Despicable how people can view others as expendable, not as though it's isolated to a few trigger happy idiot soldiers either, they're dehumanised. I wish Putin a slow, agonising and undignified end chosen by Ukrainians where he's begging for mercy & mocked by his own people.

Only a few weeks ago Ukrainians were living free like the rest of us, now their friends, brothers, sisters, and so on have fled or been killed with their homes in ruins. Utterly heartbreaking and terrifying.
