So disappointing.
1) It’s essential we immediately rest Johnno, Bartley, Mowatt and Grady.
2) Our defenders are not competent ball players and the training ground ‘roll out’ from the keeper is NOT working. Stop.
3) The team is not Premiership quality players and need to demonstrate the energy and DESIRE to work hard and EARN a victory. There is an air of superiority which is apparent and not justified.
4) There is a lack of confidence evident throughout the team (Carroll, TGH and AJ apart) as evidenced by the frustratingly constant passing back. Thank goodness for AJ and maybe Townsend were prepared to take the ball forward.
5) With Carroll’s superiority in the air…get the ball in the box from the wing 1st time and look to pick up the 2nd ball.

The Liquidator was played at the start of the 2nd half and sadly poor singing from the Home crowd. Indeed, the Stoke supporters took it over with their alternative, inevitable, abusive words. Fair play to them.

Can't see the point in playing Sam Johnstone for the remaining games, he is off in the summer.

To be honest too many painful past experiences of watching us play Stoke are etched into my memory.

From breaking down on the M6, the old Victoria ground , the new Windswept ground with no soul, that blxxdy Tom Jones song, Lou Macari et al .Pulis and his rugby/football methods but most of all the football gods up there who show us no mercy.

Never going to be good day yesterday especially with the worst team we have had in the last 20 Years
