Someone posts a negative thread- get called out by a "happy clapper." Debate spirals into a farce where the negative one claims they are "not allowed an opinion," "Warney's fan club are ganging up on me," etc etc. From where I'm sat reading, it's the negative ones that seem to have the biggest problem with being disagreed with and suggest some sort of establishment bullying every time their opinions get challenged. Do people really have posts deleted for criticising Warne? I mean genuine criticisms about the game, not personal abuse that has no place on any board? I've seen enough anti Warne opinions to suggest not.
My stance is I am proud of my club. I am proud of how the management team and owners care about the club, the town, the community. I am glad we don't just have some mercenary type manager who is only here to "do a job" and needs a sat nav to find the ground. I am realistic that on the budget and crowds we have, winning L1, the pizza cup, and bottom half Championship is about our level.
I get frustrated by the 10-0-0 formation we revert to on 65 mins when we're winning. I get annoyed every January by the wall of silence and lack of activity. I can't for the life of me understand why we signed Kelly at the expense of a striker who could help us in our promotion push. I'm gutted by our recent slump and the fact our performances have dropped of a cliff.
But I'm still a Miller, the positives outweigh the negatives and this season has been a great one so far. I'd be devastated if we blew it at the last hurdle and yes, tough questions will need to be asked and answered. But I could never support anyone else.
Thats my stance, agree or not I don't care. I find the vast majority of posts on this site to be entertaining and I enjoy the range of opinions. It's a good board to be on.
