Conveniently forgotten was the unmissable hand-ball earlier by Curtis Davies in the penalty area and the blocking of Paterson when through on goal by goalkeeper Ryan Allsop who was way out of his area, which should have been a free-kick and a sending off. Both incidents would have turned the match even more in our favour but the ref took the cowardly option and waved play on.
And what about Rooney abusing the fourth official at the end, shouting right in his face and waving his arms, not acceptable and he should be fined.
