    Rubbish Dumps.

As I was throwing an empty baked beans Tim into the bin tonight it got me to thinking.

Metals like tin are not infinite in terms of supply yet we Chuck it away by the ton.

I do wonder, in years to come will we see rubbish dumps being dug up to retrieve all sorts of metals we’ve discarded over the last 150 years?

Our garbage may well become a future generations gold.

Into the bin Mick’d? There’s a thing called recycling. Surely you have a recycling collection in Chaddesley Corbett?

Britain is already recycling metal tins….perhaps you should too? That’s if you’re not doing it already.

Yes of course we have recycling here.

I was just being lazy tonight if I'm honest.

My bigger point was in regards to how much has been put in landfill over the last 150 years along with copper and gold used in electronics.

At some point I can see dumps being dug up for "treasure" in the future.

At one point the dump not two kilometers from our house was actually the biggest land fill dump in Europe.......
They currently extract methane gas from the developed site that powers over ten thousand homes in the area.....
The metals can degrade quickly...not gold of course......but the plastic is not going to be much of a treasure to dig up.......Bare in mind cities have never been on the population sizes that they are presently, so none of this is sustainable.......
Gold is not made here so there is nly so much of it and they reckon most has still not been found.....

For two weeks I’ve been eating cold baked beans from a tin whilst I’ve been sick as it’s all i fancy in an evening.

No airs and graces with me Kets.
