Well it does bring in to question the Premier leagues fit and proper rules, I would love nothing more for City and Toon to feel the heat next but then Utd would dominate again...

As another potential buyer backs out of The chelsea bid, I just don't get it, the club valued at 2 billion but carrying 1.5 billion debt, so are they saying buy/ clear the debt plus 0.5 Billion, all very dodgy. How can the likes of these top clubs be carrying so much debt when we have FFP?

The Sky clubs, and their cohorts in Europe, feathered their own beds with a multiple of financial sins (inc debts) in the lead up to FFP. All with the intention of the future shackling of ‘new money clubs’.

Certain clubs built up squads of 50/60 players, who they loaned out for added sell-on value, once the FFP kicked in.

State-owned clubs, the likes of City, PSG, Sandcastle, and soon to be joined by AC Milan, are just adding to the death of football as we once knew it.

Corruption is the name of the game. They got their 5 subs, in the end. They got their free passes to the Champions League, in the end, and they have their unlimited debt.

Games gone, Dave, well gone, was it ever ours?

One of my greatest sadnesses is the fact that the ‘Young Villan’ will never know what we all took for granted as youngsters.

Totally agree ExV but still believe, well, hope that the likes of Villa, Newcastle, Wolves and Liecester will keep nibbling away at the plastic clubs, All have mega rich owners.
