Well I am glad the love-in since the Ipswich game has finished.


A mediocre performance on Saturday, with a smidgen more effort than in recent weeks was hailed as a master class by the deluded, who cannot and will not see the truth about this team


If we do fluke it into the championship, there is no way on earth I will be shelling out to watch this team beat the record for the lowest points tally.

You should never have stayed away since Saturday....I made the point earlier on that you stated after the pizza final we will win 2 games out of the last 7......you are well on course. There are far too many similarities with Warne's seasons starting to unfold now.Had it not been for the PPG Covid 'get out of jail card' the other year we would have all known earlier. Seasons start fresh and eager,invigorated from running up mountains in Hungary at 6 in the morning and BBQ's at the Wicko Cricket Club.We then get to Christmas and everyone suddenly starts to feel.......well......pretty bol***ksed to be honest!

Not many positives to take from tonight’s game.

We kept persisting with hoof ball and it failed pretty much every time. It wasn’t working but we didn’t change. Poor from the players and poor from the management.

We had a decent few minutes after their first goal which fizzled out quite quickly and a decent few minutes at the end but that would have only got us a consolation.

I haven’t watched the last 3 games as I’ve been away but that match was dire. Burton were better than us.

On todays performance our players are looking like a bottom end league 1 team and that’s where we could find ourselves next season.

Not watched tonight,so disappointed the last 2 months, 60+ yrs watching RUFC and this is turning into the worst ending to a season i can remember, no disrespect to Burton but if we cant give them a bit of a game then we dont deserve to go up, If you know who win their last 3 games and get automatic promo it will be the worst ever, its very likely to happen, whats the odds GURU.

potentially on a par with that great ending to the 73/74 season where we looked safe, home and dry...those home defeats to Oldham and York still haunt me...
