I guess you can only look at individual player's direct involvement with pressure games in their career, and talking to coaching staff who have worked with them about their performance in such situations. It's researchable but at the same time, players aren't robots and I would imagibne that those who have the playing talent and mentality that positively gets off on big pressure games, as opposed to visibly being anxious in their play, are most likely in the championship already and on wages that reflect this. I don't think it's not poss to research it though as times such as these are crucial to success. I know most of our team are brilliant people, and great footy ambassadors for the club but when the going has got tough, not many have got going recently!
Not overtly critical - our competitors are clearly feeling it too - just interested as to what extent that ruthless 'getting off on the big game' is researched when recruiting.
