I think he is key to our play off chances. most of the teams we are playing are already doomed. I would sooner we had more credible opposition in a game or two but it is what it is. With what we have in front of us anything less than 4th place is under achievement unless someone else does the unimaginable. Would fancy our chances away at Halifax, can't see us getting past Wrexham with their support and squad strength.
Cameron and Brindley were both shown doing some running in the training video yesterday although it looked 'light' in intensity at this stage.

We need to finish 4th or 5th to get a home game in the quaters just to give us a chance although this is Notts County so we could quite easily squeeze in at 7th. However we're far to inconsistant to win 3 games in a row against top opposition so can only see yet another season in this awful league.

    This would do...

I can see that prediction in the link happening if we don't do a Notts and drop points against the part-timers.

Remember that home game against Halifax where we missed about 5 ridiculous chances? I thought at the time that the two points dropped / point gained could be massive for both clubs come the end of the season.

That's small beer compared to the game at The Shay - 0-2 up, they go down to 10, 3 goals to win it in the last 10mins. That was unforgivable! A 9pt swing both combined. We'll see at the end of the season what difference it made

Unforgivable for sure but the vast majority of teams will have thrown away points needlessly in comic and/or embarrassing fashion including potentially Halifax. I always think after a full season you finish exactly where you deserve to finish.

Cheers mate, I would need much better odds to be tempted.

But that was something else, beyond the normal twists and turns of fortune.
You can bet that everyone at the club involved in that game won't forget it in a hurry. Maybe memories of both games can stiffen the resolve and we'll be hell-bent on putting things right. I don't think IB will be wanting to shake their manager's hand and say 'well done, well played' again.

It did sound crazy at The Shay, Let's hope we get the opportunity to settle the score in the playoffs.

True, that was Notts at their most Nottsesque. But the home game was bonkers too. I've never seen a more one-sided Notts match in my life - we seemed to have a goal-scoring opportunity every other minute. And yet we somehow didn't win.

This was/is true to a point… perhaps not so bleak in the near term?
