AEK Athens is historically the third most successful Greek team after Olympiacos and Panathinaikos. They’ve won 11 championships and 14 cups. In an attempt to clear all accumulated debt after years of corrupted ownership, the club was relegated to the third division. Similarly to the story of Glasgow Rangers in Scotland.
Didn't say it was tough or not, simply that it's unfair, which is very different. In most businesses, if a director (or board) mismanages, commits fraud, embezzles money, trades whilst insolvent, its they who are punished if found out (although the employees are likely to suffer as the business suffers), not the customers of the company. In football, it's almost entirely the opposite way round, the executives sidle off into other jobs, players go to other clubs where they can, staff do much the same. It's the fans, the "consumers" of the service the business supplied, who having paid their whack are left with a relegated side (probably), diminished playing capabilities, poorer opposition, diminished club facilities (home and away), lack of opportunity to compete for major competitions etc etc.

Not a case of tough or not, more a case of is it right or wrong, who should be punished, and how.

Since the idea and inception of the PL at the start of the 90's when top clubs become big businesses and more Privately held by individuals, the civic standing and responsibilities of clubs has been undermined, ie: the fan's don't count.

Derby County and a few others have been run recklessly, lying about the security of the club, even risking the clubs survival. Financial doping no different to drug doping in athletics.

They shouldn't have been in the play off's, we might have got promoted that year or Middlesboro instead of them (who have a legal claim ongoing) could have been in the play-offs instead of finishing 7th.

Obviously your fans have been loving the decline in this great club. We will be back though, not sure when or in what format though. The club has been run like s**t for a number of years, from tea lady through to the owners. Much of the reason for the relegation though is obviously down to Morris - someone who has been greatly praised by everyone, except myself who has never liked his "involvement" in all matters. He has turned out to be a crook who has deliberitly broke the rules (he has known this for the last few years). He has in my view solely acted irresponsibly by doing this. There are thousands of supporters who would obviously have liked to be in the Premiership and have trusted him to do this fairly. The blame lies solely at his door. In my opinion he ought to be more held to account for his actions instead of the fairly petty repercussions he has. Indeed he appears to still be coming out fairly well in my view. I also personally do not favour the new owner to be Kirchner, were Morris to fully give up the stadium ownership then Mike Ashley would be the owner I think and, despite his obvious previous results at Newcastle, would be my choice. We will see.

As a fellow "Passionate" footy fan I have to admit I do feel for you fella - as always the fans despite banter and rivalry are always the ones that actuaslly feel the pain and pay the price for crooked bosses who walk away scott free in nearly every case.

Keep your faith, i'm sure you will bounce back over tyhe next few seasons - though it may take a little longer than it took us!

    I certainly don’t hate Derby.

As clubs and fans, we have more similarities than differences compared to most other teams and, as others have said, it’s the fans that will be feeling the pain for the idiocy of nonsense out of their control.

It's a cliche that love-hate in clubs is due to individual circumstances. In this case Fat Frank (A lot slimmer than most of us touchpad warriors) Rightfully complained about our banned tactics but we have taken it aboard to blast a player who for club and country gave his all and even his father left memories that even I can remember him in the good old days playing for Westham. We should take the blame as we did wrong and move on this nameshaming of a guy like this is cruel and unfair. I do hope he fs up this job though

Errr, they weren't "banned tactics", virtually every other club EVERYWHERE employs similar. Lanyard was like a spoilt child in front if the cameras and made himself look f00king stupid, especially when Bielsa demonstrated that Derby were "special" as he (Bielsa) was doing much the same for all Leeds opponents. Bielsa did the honourable thing and paid the (uncontested) fine (desperately manufactured by the FA because it was Leeds who were the accused) out of his own pocket, even though ALL club's do similar things. Fat Frank then goes to Chelski and f00ks up, then Everton and does the same, couldn't happen to a more deserving sh1thead. Dont hate Derby like some, but Lampard I'd gladly sh1t all over.

I think that covers it quite adequately

No, it doesn't really I forever will be thankful the guy gave his all in playing days as he was a special player.
Anyway, we know who was smiling on that important day when we stuffed up.
People seem to forget they are human beings with families just like all of us and this naming and crap needs to be cut out.
As for his **** ups I would have loved to see how long MB would have lasted at Chelsea with his tactics.
On the Everton job well he inherited this squad so could have gone either way but obviously, it isn't good enough so if they survive which I think they won't, Judge him next season whichever way they go.
    Again each to their own.

I suspect, as Lumpard inherited a mega million squad at Chelski and Everton, had Bielsa had similar he'd have done even better than he did at LUFC. As for being in the spotlight and subject to criticism, you see anyone twisting his arm, at Derby or anywhere else? Not sure what your point here is?

Lumpard was a great player and like many great players before him, he should have recognised his limitations and either bought a nice pub somewhere or at least restricted his coaching/managerial exploits to some backwater non-league side, as befits his capabilities in that area.
