Whilst it feels like a defeat it’s important to remember we didn’t lose and gained an important point in the percentage swing to Saturday and played really well…with only a few days to final game it’s not the time to get too downhearted at this crucial stage…UTM

A performance that really did deserve the three points. We are in a position to win this league and the players know they are more than capable to get that champion's medal.Proud to be a Miller and so looking forward to going down to Gillingham to cheer these lads on.UTM

Can't believe what I am reading on here tonight.

I am supposed to be the prophet of doom not you lot.

That was a fantastic performance, we bossed it and were totally in control.

I felt like I had got my team back. It was the first time in months that we were enjoyable to watch

I correctly predicted our slump in form due to poor performances. Tonight was the performance of a team at the top of their game.

    We are back!

Well, the last few games have been a bit Jekyll and Hyde, but we are still in there with a great chance of going up or even going up as champions.

To be picky I would rather Gillingham to be safe or already relegated instead of playing them whilst they are fighting for their lives in league 1

So near, yet so far. Said to my lad when Smithy missed that chance, hope we don't regret it.
At the end of each half we had a corner, which every other Ref would have allowed to be taken.

Pretty drained after that and Saturday will be even more emotionally exhausting! There's not many clubs that have had a rollercoaster like ours in the last ten seasons or even twenty.

Well done to all the players and staff for a magnificent effort.

Also Icky's own goal was by no means the worst spot of League One defending of the night if you look at Wigan's and Fleetwood's howlers on the Sky highlights.

Unfortunate to say the least but a great point away from home. The players cant dwell too much about how the game panned out tonight because we need them all focused for the Gillingham match.
I can see Gillingham wanting to play stop start all game with slow spoiling tactics to try and knock us out of any rhythm, and I'm not knocking them if that's what they end up doing as there is a lot at stake for them too.
We need to keep composed and not lose our heads, and there is nothing we can do now about tonight's result, so on to saturday and hopefully promotion, I cant wait. UTM

Very disappointed but not with the performance or effort. It was a cruel blow at the end but hopefully Icky takes a little consolation after scoring for us too! Could have been going into the Gillingham game needing a win to be champions and already promoted! But it is what it is.

If we do drop into the play offs, I'd fancy us against Sunderland.

Not quite Cardiff Nardendee as that game was last match of season, and whilst we would have stopped up had we beaten Cardiff, when that game started we knew we had to win and hope other results went for us, but this last game at Gillingham is totally in our own hands and now somebody else has to win but also need us to slip up, and as frustrating as tonight's result was, we are still in a very strong position. One consequence of Icky's OG is that having now let in 33 we can no longer equal our club record low of 32 goals conceded in a season that we set in winning the 3rd Division in 1980-81. A shame really as for much of the season we looked like eclipsing it until a couple of 0-3 results chucked a spanner in the works.
