Time for another strong half time chat. Hopefully second half we come out at full power.

Stall saying that Notts don't track runners when they lose the ball. Switching off when in possession and giving them a free run at goal. Haven't created much from open play.

Yes indeed, we are good at coming back from behind. Fingers crossed we can do so today.

Yes Eastleigh are another one as well. If we don't get promoted we will need to unlock the door as to how we beat these kind of teams away from home.

These sides are happy to let us have possession as though we are home side and then they break on the counter attack which raises the home crowd and atmosphere but once the play switches and are out of possession it's then having that intensity and hunger to go and win the ball back. The thing is with the counter attack you have to be clinical with your shooting as you might not get many chances and that's what Aldershot have been thus far today.

As you say in your last line - as the most difficult of our remaining fixtures, this match warranted our best side.
Monday against Dover was the match to give a rest to anyone who needed one. And this isn't hindsight, I fully expected our strongest team today as I think most did.
I certainly did. Burch needs to bring Arter and Sam (at least) on at half-time. The problem is, it's much more difficult to reclaim initiative when you've already given it away.

If Brunt comes off, he should now be sent back to Sheffield!

So frustrating - Halifax being held by Yeovil

Anyone else think Roberts/Wootton getting on penalties will bite us on the arse in the play-offs.

It's the strangest thing. Ruben lost his job without ever missing one - it's not how this thing usually works

Notts need to be breathing fire after half-time. We need to win this game to stay in the running for third place, which is very important.
