No excuses for any of the players...
But IB hobbled this team by putting a weird team out (Brunt? Why? And no recognised striker)

No resting/rotating crap now on Monday - shirts for those who deserve one only. They need to know, play bad and you're out

Pathetic. The worst I feared today was a disappointing draw. Ian Burchnall needs to take responsibility for that performance himself. The team-selection, the tippy-tappy possession for possession's sake bullsh*t, and the lack of fight and guts. I don't want to hear that the players didn't carry out his plan well enough. I want to hear him recognise that his plan isn't working for away games, as it hasn't done in various other away performances this season. If Burchnall can't be honest with himself about his mistakes then he can't hope to teach the players anything, and then his future as manager might well begin to come into question.

We should still take 5th, but Grimsby will almost certainly take it if we slip up again.

    Tue.10.May BOREHAM WOOD (9th)

He won't, he always stands one step removed when it's not gone well. The plan is always right, it's the execution by the players that's let him down.

Other than the first couple of games, Arter has turned into exactly the sort of signing many of us feared. Past it is being kind.

I enjoy the style too but absolutely no organisation at the back.
This will be our worst ever league position.
If (when) we don't get promoted he will have to go - but I don't want a return to hoofball.
