I have often wondered about that mate,when they play abroad in europe we get a live broadcast and full commentary from the country The Rangers are playing in which is fair enough.When at home the EBC are banned so Richard Gordon,Tom English,Charlie Adam,Mark Hateley and others are all paid to sit in a Glasgow studio and pass comment on what they are witnessing on a TV screen.This in my opinion is FN ridiculous we should just be told that as the EBC are banned from Ibrox there will be no coverage of ANY The Rangers home ties in any competition.
Mind you as i havnie paid for a TV licence since the 18th of September 2014 maybe its not my place to be critical of auld Auntie Beeb being frivolous with other peoples money.

Honest mate i have had one visit in 8 years from a Pole and an Australian guy who were told on the doorstep(they are not allowed in your house)that we have a TV but do not watch any live programmes.Every two years i phone them to tell them that i still do not require a TV licence and they forward through the post a No licence required confirmation certificate.
