I remember Ian Scanlon's 3 min hat-trick against Sheff Wed quite clearly. I also remember one of my mates having an urgent call of nature when we were losing 1-0, & returning 5 min later having missed all 3 of Scanlon's hat-trick. Think the game ended 3-3.

Remember spurs away from cup
Was right behind don o’riordans screamer
Once it left his boot was always top corner.
Gaza got the winner I think and should of got a red for elbowing Harding.
Big bruise and shiner above his eye.
Stoke away was another.
Heavy snow and my dads ford van couldn’t make the hills so turned back halfway there.
Only to find it on telly the big match itv.
Think we drew.

Chelsea away to get promotion
I’m me dads shoulder to watch harkook run through Chelsea’s midfield and plant one int bottom corner.
Delirium in the notts away end
Was tasty after the game
Milwall away.
Sure vinter scored and we lost.
In and out cold blow lane was seriously daunting.
Man City away night game
Got hammered and they were throwing fireworks in..horrible

Pat Jennings in goal
Stood in the clock end amongst the arsenal as my uncle was a gooner
They handed us a thumping that day and got it all night from my relatives
Rotherham away was always a good one..
It was a tasty before and after match as we were scabs.
Never remembered a great deal as beverages continued to flow rather well..
God we had some good times and really do hope they return
