FFS we’ve covered most of this before. Go and look at some of thos links I put up
Griff, i have already said that Johnson has to go. There is no dispute. Leaders have to lead by example as well as intelligence. The Tory party have seen fit to keep him, for the time being. Nothing gets in the way of the Tories winning, its for all our sakes when you look at the alternative. Keeping him is ok with me, for a time.
I know. This wasn’t aimed at you it was more for the amusement of everybody
You cannot do what he did, and expect to carry on. Anyway, i broke covid rules, did you?
No Frank, I have a mother in a care home and I had to be careful. You should turn yourself in immediately
Exactly. But he still has to go.
No argument
As for the local elections, in normal times the opposition, whoever, usually are miles ahead, not this time, losses were marginal.
Losses were significant, though the Lib Dems did better than Labour
If you extrapolate that to an election, Labour lose, badly.
Probably
What i find annoying is that the covid and war problems are seen as the personal failures of the Tories, not for what it is, acts of god.
As i said earlier it happened on their watch so it’s their fault, just like the Tories blamed Labour for the big financial crisis because a global fiscal meltdown happened on their watch. In fact, they didn’t stop banging on about it for decades. Same argument Frank.
And its held against them like the tories are personally responsible for those things. And its people like you two who exploit this for your own political ends, as Labour do, when the truth is that they struggle to find the right path like everyone else.
As I said a couple of lines above, what goes around comes around. If you stick your head above the parapet it’ll het shot off. Er, who exactly is in government?
With the cost of living crisis coming, where is the money coming from to pay for countless problems? I have already asked that question which got no reply.
Borrowing Frank, and a windfall tax. Borrowing isn’t the end of the world Frank, it’ll always be with us, have a look at the link. And don’t forget that borrowing always rises under the Tories, it’s Labour that likes to reduce it (see links in earlier days).

The money will come from the rich, and it may not be enough, they pay fortunes already. We are all in this together. Unlike Labour who seek to divide society at all costs. If people die from whatever, it will be seen as a Tory problem, and not as a tragedy in a world thats fcd up.
Inflation is at 9.1% from memory. There was a press report the other day that said that official sources had calculated that the effect was actually around 7.9% on the rich and 11% on the poor. If there’s one thing that’s certain it’s that the Tories always fuck the poor
The country is broke, whatever we borrow we must pay back. the 1.6 trillion we were in debt before covid and war is now a trifle. And the debt is due to get bigger, much bigger.
See my link and comments a few lines above
The people you should be weeping for are those who WILL starve in africa asia etc. Afghanistan is starving now. I dont see you weeping over that. You are just worried about your own larders. As for britain, we need to suspend hostilities, children are being shelled and dying just over the channel.
Eh? Of course I’m deeply concerned that the actions of Putin risk famine in Africa and elsewhere. I’m human Frank. And I don’t see us firing shells at folk in France, your eyesight must be better than mine.
People are being blown to bits, executed for nothing. Putin is holding the world to ransom through starvation. Nuclear war may happen.
I know, it’s in the news.
Partygate is small fry. Cost of living is small fry. Bigger things are happening.
