    If he "knows this league" he must have been stuck in it for a while, is that the type of manager you want? Knows the league but stuck there? Never promoted?

    I’d happily take Gerrard from Boreham Wood if we need a replacement for IB - they ran out of steam this season, but have spectacularly overachieved for a club not even getting gates of 1,000.

    If we go up, I’d like to think IB will stay. If we don’t, I wouldn’t blame him for snapping up the opportunity of managing in L1 and advancing up the ladder. Let’s hope it’s the former.
