The trouble with patience in football, is it’s literally years, I would suggest to most just try and enjoy it whatever league we're in, that is the idea of going to games and supporting your club, as painful as it maybe at times.
Quite. No matter how long it takes, if your club is financially stable you're always going to have a better foundation on which to build, even if it takes a long time. Those clubs that splash cash they can't afford may (or may not) get success in the short term, but somewhere down the line those bills come in from the taxman and elsewhere, and you end up worse off than you started, if you're still around at all.
