I think some thread headers could be better labelled in that instance, but having said that they are open to all posters and then go off topic, especially the hapless innocent mentioning wood on every thread…..but also some posters who think they have got a scoop or a bit of breaking news always want a thread on their own for notoriety..you won’t stop that,it’s just down to mods to get the sweeping brush out..

If he put where this came from then maybe we would know if it’s reliable or not, I’ve seen it on twitter and it’s not an official source but tbh it’s hard to know these days with that many wannabe journalists on

It also should have a question mark at end of the title

Yes, I thought he lived near Stratford-upon-Avon so about 50 miles difference or about 1h each way different. He's probably at a stage in life where that might be a tipping factor but the money on the other side of the scales could balance it out. Would it help if we paid him in pound coins?

Would have hoped the Griggs after 4yrs(?) at Sunderland following a £4M transfer will have banked quite a bit. He won't have been on 3grand a week.....

According to various sites he was on 6K / week but not sure whether that was the full amount or a proportion of it. According to the data it says when on loan at MK they paid 25% of his wages.

I would thought a 4 million signing would be on more than 6k a week.

I bet rufc players are on 2-4k in league 1 and there all freebies

Of the 4million he’s entitled to 10% of which he gets 5% instantly, the other 5% goes into his pension fund. That’s how it’s always worked in transfer fees.
