That is a relief Sinkov, I thought we were in trouble for a minute.

We should after that be able to build the nucleus of a Championship challenging squad.

Let's roll the dice and see how they land.

Good positive post, BT. The possible link up with Man City and the Netherlands could be interesting.

I prefer to see how it all develops rather than all the sensationalist doom and gloom of some contributors

Seems a bit optimistic to me does £80 million BT, don't forget other clubs know we have to sell, they'll have Pace by the short and curlies and they're not going to be paying top dollar.

But let's say you're right and £80 million it is, we won't be getting it all up front, you know that mon ami, £40 million tops. We'll still need CiB's car boot sale.

Vincent Kompany was very well respected while at Manchester City both as a player and within the Manchester community.

I would be quite happy to have him as manager of our club, and hopefully he may be able to bring Steven Defour back in some coaching role with him..

If my memory serves me right did we not initially get Ben Mee, and Kieran Trippier on loan from Manchester City but I am not entirely sure that is correct.

This Kompany thing is good news, the man is nobodies fool. If he thinks it's worthwhile taking on the Burnley job, then he must see some light at the end of the tunnel. Let's hope that light isn't an oncoming train.

If that is the case Sinkov lets have the car boot sale down at Gawthorpe and then get 11 loanees from Citeh.Probably walk the Championship.Be nice to see Defour back in the fold.

Man City could become our feeder team with Kompany in charge, they definitely have some brilliant young players who would shine in the Championship
