Wages the main reason we don't get most ready made championship players. We've got to shop in the lower leagues.
There are many factors in play some more important than others but the fact that Rotherham has issues with Asian grooming gangs isn't exactly one of its attractions

Rotherham might not be St Tropez, but many other places are equally as unattractive.
Watford, Luton, Middlesbrough, Gillingham, Rochdale, Oldham, alll spring to mind.
If I were a Rotherham footballer, there are still loads of lovely places to live near by,some even in Rotherham !
The Amazon!? I've got no idea what you're on about!
In fact, I'm genuinely puzzled by most of your response...
Can you show me where I've accused you of using the word embarrassing?
Or where I've claimed you shouldn't be allowed to criticise the club/should be censored?
I've merely used my free speech to say that I find it embarrassing for the club that no matter how successful we are, some fans will always complain.
Brin - Let's see if we can try and fill in a few blanks here. Back in the autumn a striker project comes on the radar. The plan is to bring him in to have a look in Jan. Then a bombshell drops Laptop drops his transfer request in and his agent goes public. Lets then assume a Scotch Prem club maybe one of the Edinburgh teams comes in with an offer to take Freddie Laptop on loan Warne moves quickly with TS blessing to set up a deal to bring in one of the EFL's top scorers for a substantial fee and a 3 year contract confident in the knowledge that one of his highest earners is off the books and the interest in the striker project drops.
Laptop does not want to go to Scotland and the only other interest is from 2 promotion rivals, so no deal there. Warne worried that Laptop will lose interest still wants to push on with the striker deal he has set up, TS will not relax the purse strings but Warne wants another striker one who can make an immediate impact not a project. Work the rest out.
I suspect I am not far off the mark. Be interesting to see if the striker deal goes through now, ironically a Scots club is now chasing the same guy
I'm quite impressed with what he said in interview. He sounds like a team player who will run until he drops for the club and his team mates. Hope it works out well for the lad whoever he plays alongside up front.
