When burch came in we fell from 6th to 10th , so he was agreat motivator . Burch may well atrractive football, but unless its winning football its useless
At least Ardley finished 3rd twice which is significant and to the final , now twice in two attempts, against Burch semi final and now quater
On top of that Ardley was more loyal to Notts , not like the Judas that just left
Praise? I'm saying he was a slightly brighter shade of meh than Ardley. That's not really praise, let alone cringeworthy praise. I'm just stating facts.

IB and NA are both in the past now, and the history books will forever show that NA has a lower ppg ratio than IB, despite having parachute payments in his first season. That will never change no matter how much we argue about it.

The majority of fans also preferred watching IB's brand of football.

If you or Kelton have a problem with IB, don't like him personally, harbour a grudge against him for some reason, then fair enough, have at it, but at least be honest and say that!

I am convinced we would have got further with NA- he has already proved it by getting to two finals .As for options usual we always take the wrong one

I thought as Notts , we would have learnt by now, stop sacking managers and replacing them with worse ones

Harbour a grudge, i base it on his results, IB was apoor appointment at a bad time, i said so at the time, and was proved correct, never wanted him, and glad he has gone, good riddance
So what he has more tippy tappy football, i could not care what football is played as long as it successfull

So what IB has a higher ppg ratio, as Stallard mentioned the stat that matters is the final league position, and IB finished 5th compared to Ardleys 3rd, and as for parachute payments , Ardley has none at Solihull but as again finished 3rd and got to another final

Its people like you that are the reason Notts are in this position, happy with medoice in the 5th tier

Im not getting into an argument over this but i would remind people we conceded 6 goals in two play off games last season. That to me is us going backwards

Yeah ok so poor appointment, wrong time, limited experience, didn't know the league and so on.

Yet still higher ppg than Ardley.

On the same or probably smaller budget.

    Playing better football.

    People like me eh?

NA was crucified on here by some saying he was a poor manager, they ignored a few facts, got Wimbledon into L1 which alone was a great achievement and then kept them there and was given a glowing reference when they parted company, this season they were relegated. First season in NL he hardly had a team with 2 months of games ahead with Sat / Tues fixtures which is where we lost ground, 2nd season in the mix and now in a playoff final with Solihull, but wrote off for the one season we were relegated, tbf some situations/people are unworkable no matter if you’re competent or not.

Conceded 6 and scored 5 in play offs last season.

Conceded 3 and scored 2 in play offs season before under NA.

So as I said before, wven with your latest chosen metric, they are kind of similar but slightly more interesting to watch under IB.

As I said to Davy, just save us all the time and say you don't like the guy.
