Luke Tisdale fits the bill nicely. Good links to U23 football too

Centre back that can play RB, again seems logical

Luke joined the Sky Blues on a full-time basis in August 2014, initially joining the Academy at the Alan Higgs Centre as Youth Development Phase Coach. Tisdale progressed to become Under 23s Head Coach at the start of the 2019/20 season.

A Cov supporting mate of mine reckons he will be a good fit for us - says his teams have generally done well and a lot of the u-23s have graduated to the first team under his guidance.

Will always fondly look back at the time that Notts Twitter got a random Danish guy to odds on favourite to be our next manager, and it got so out of hand we had people threatening not to renew their season tickets.

    So no announcement today then.

Suggests they are giving it some thought or negotiations are on going, which should rule out a total non-entity who would jump at the chance being their first choice.... though they may yet have to resort to that if nobody else they have in mind is prepared to defer basic managerial duties.

Surely somebody who has managed a first team with a record to speak of would be better than a youth coach, no matter how high up the pyramid. Wasn't Fullarton an U23 coach at some Championship club or other? Maybe younger.

Fullarton is a complete ar*ehole though he got done for bullying not exactly type to encourage players.

Cooper was only U23 coach before he took the Swansea job on.

I think id like someone who has had some success around Non League football if honest but failing that a U23 coach is just as risky as an experienced bloke who has been sacked at 5-6 jobs imo.

We are clearly thinking about this and not rushing it as the club knew 3 weeks ago or more id guess.
