    I really liked Ardley, and still do. It was time though for him to go - for his sake as much as ours. Hope Solihull go up. But I do think we have progressed under Burchnall. More points in a stronger league is what I base that on. I also think that without a needless push in the 96th minute we would be playing Solihull on Sunday. Just my opinion.

    As I've said before, this "stronger league" thing is a half-truth. It was definitely stronger at the top end, but it was also piss weak at the bottom end. Even if you discount Dover's points deduction, the relegated clubs between them managed just 75 points from 132 games. From those 3 clubs alone, that left 294 points for other clubs to gain.
