Well, the board statement just released, blows that timeline totally out of the water. Sounds like a couple of more weeks of rampant speculation!

I guess that puts to bed the Tisdale rumour… no way would the bloke resign his role at CCFC if there was no job to go to.

Tbf, there was nothing in the Coventry press release that actually said he had resigned (as opposed to them shifting him out).

Hmmm, Williamson still in the running, then?

Hartlepool United are delighted to announce that Paul Hartley has been appointed as the clubs new Manager.

Hartley (45), has been promoted five times as a manager and joins from Cove Rangers in Scotland following two promotions and leading the club to their highest ever league position in the Scottish Championship.

I think and hope it will be Williamson. The two week wait fits with the fact he’s in Dubai. Good fit for the club. Obviously good fit for Langstaff.
Will be glad if it is him!

6 blanks in their last 7 home games, a Fullartonesque sequence. He was sacked before the last of those having taken over with the team 17th, left them 16th. Pld 26 W 7 D 10 L 9 in the league.
