Anyone going to be raising a glass to her Maj?

Just noticed some old biddy over the road hanging up some buntings for our street party. I will have a glass of something to celebrate but I will not be attending the street do. I cannot stand the old biddy. I have no time for none of the folk in the street and my neighbour can eff off.

I wonder if they think the same about me?

Yep got loads going on. Tonight live music with a 40's theme and lighting the beacon. Saturday music festival and Sunday street party in the village. Love a party me.

You need to think of royalty more like a business Des.

They bring in more than they cost us due the number of simple minded tourists etc who love the whole royalty thing.

In reality you’re a lot like me in that you love the Britain that used to exist in the 50’s and 60’s etc and royalty was a part of what it is to be British and English in particular.

I wouldn’t want to be them.
