    Johnny Depp vindicated

Pleased for Depp. He obviously knew that the trial would air all his dirty washing (though tbh his drug habits or drinking were hardly a secret) but did so to clear his name. Heard comes across as narcissistic and there seems to have been a fair bit of "gaslighting" going on by her. She claimed to have been the face of domestic violence but her lies and exaggerations have done the #metoo movement a great dis-service. On the other hand, the trial has shown that men -even the rich and famous-can be gaslighted by controlling or manipulative women. It isn't just about physical threats/violence but psychological ones too. Depp wont come out of this totally unscathed but he will be re-integrated into Hollywood but it will take Amber Heard a lot longer, if ever. Not generally interested in Celeb. stories but there are important ramifications from this one I think.

Can't say I would want to be married to either of them. A couple of dysfunctional people there. Depp won his case but at what cost to his reputation, which is what you are trying to protect in a libel suit. Heard just plain lost no matter how you look at it.
